I think Wyclef is one of those people who is very talented and knows how to manuever the game. Sometime his eclectic style and approach get in the way of me really enjoying what hes good at. When I first heard that he may be running I was like WTF??? But then I realized that he is probably the perfect fit. At least for right now. He is definately the lead presence in terms of popularity and that alone should be enough force to create interest and funding. Then the people who should probably be president could run the country without having to be to distracted by the politics. Lets hope he chooses the right people as Ms. Andriuex suggested.

For those who don’t know my man TL Cross and his crew Da Gutta Fam has been producing and songwriting for acts like: Usher, Faith Evans, Musiq, Carl Thomas, Ghost face, 50 cent and many more. The team also crafted Montell Jordan’s hit record “Get It on Tonight,” which garnered the crew a 1 R&B and Pop stripe. Always a great R&B artist and performer he has been finally gaining independent traction over the last couple of years. Miami, Zane’s Sex Chronicles) plays The Somali Pirate Leader in Sylvester Stallone’s mercenary action film “The Expendables”, directed by Stallone. Joseph’s explosive character appears in the films memorable opening battle challenging the team of mercenaries, who later head to South America on a mission to overthrow a dictator. The Fishburned Scarlett Letter

I was just watching an interview with Laurence Fishburne and Kathy Hughes (Radio One) predating the current situation (his daugthers porn career) and he was stating: based on response form his acting, he had to realize that he became a father figure to many black americans. It seems like he has worked so hard to serve as this respectable presence in the tradition of Harry Belafonte, Sidney Poitier, Paul Roberson, etc. I’m not suggesting that Montana Fishburne is the villan and he is the saint by any means. We have no idea what really created this situation. I also, don’t judge the adult film community as there are definitely a lot of positive things to appreciate when get over the taboo. However, from a superficial point of view in a time when strong black role models are few and far between, it is tragic that yet another one receives a scarlet letter and is often discredited. I really respect Mr. Fishburne and hope he and his daughter repair their relationship and this situation.
